Assists users to grasp an object by voluntarily flexing his or her fingers and also releasing them with the extension system connected to the glove. Could be used by persons with neurological conditions due to stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, muscular dystrophy, etc., and individuals exhibiting wrist drop and/or lacking finger extension.
