Step-On AFO device for use on the right foot in this example, shown in black. It consists of a base that looks like an insole and joined with the vertical part of the device, with screw provided for adjusting the spring tension. There are 2 Velcro straps placed around the vertical top and middle of the device for fastening it around the user's calf.

The Step-On Ankle-Foot Orthoses (AFO) is a dynamic in-shoe AFO that provides adjustable ankle dorsiflexion assistance while walking to help users with drop foot symptoms.
