PRIVACY POLICY

By using our App and Service and by providing or making available your content, personal information and such other information about yourself to us, you are agreeing and expressly consenting to the collection and use of your personal data or information by us for the purposes of providing the Service to you as well as our purposes.

When you use the Service.

When you are referred to us by other agencies, individuals or organisations, or when we seek or receive your information from other agencies, individuals or organisations, in order to provide schemes, services, or other assistance to you.

When you submit your personal data to us for any other reasons

What Data We Collect - Some examples of the data we collect include:

Personal particulars - e.g. name, NRIC/FIN/passport details, address, telephone number, email address, date of birth, education details, photographs and videos

(b)

Financial information - e.g. income, expenses, and/or banking information of you and your family

(c)

Employment information - e.g. occupation, employment history, salary, and/or benefits

(d)

Your interaction with us - e.g. phone calls, call recordings, mobile text messages, emails, faxes, letters, forms, and any other correspondences

(e)

Your service information - e.g. the schemes, services, programmes, courses, or any other assistance rendered by us to you

(f)

Information from other agencies, individuals or organisations - e.g. Social Service Agencies, hospitals, schools, Ministries, government agencies, employers, training providers, and/or other agencies that approach us to render our services or assistance to you.

How Your Data is Used:

(a)

Process, provide, and/or administer schemes, services, programmes, courses, or any other assistance to you through the App

(b)

Respond to queries, feedback, and requests from you or people you have authorised.

(c)

Process claims, reimbursements, payouts, or payments for schemes, services, programmes, courses, or any other events you have registered for

(d)

Address or investigate any complaints, claims or disputes.

(e)

IFacilitate referrals or connections to other organisations or agencies that may provide relevant services or assistance to you.

(f)

Inform you about SG Enable’s schemes, services, programmes, courses, events, or other essential information.

(g)

Produce materials for training, internal and/or external communications, publicity, or other purposes deemed appropriate by us whether in the print, online or in any other media including but not limited to photographs, images, audio or video files.

(h)

Conduct research, analysis, studies, statistics compilation, evaluation, policy formulation, reporting, audit, and record keeping.

(i)

Meet legal, regulatory and other requirements including providing assistance to law enforcement, judicial and other government agencies.

(j)

Provide your data to organisations, agencies or service providers which administer or provide schemes, services, or other assistance which may be of relevance to you; industry regulators and other government organisations, as required by local laws and regulations; financial institutions, for purposes such as facilitating payments, screenings or checks; as well as organisations, for the purposes of data analysis, evaluation and policy formulation, for which you will not be identified as a specific individual.

We will not use your personal data for purposes other than what we have informed you above, or which are permitted or compellable under local laws and regulations.

Protecting Your data

3.1

The security of your personal data is important to us. SG Enable has in place appropriate safeguards required by law to protect the personal data stored with us.

3.2

We will use technical and organisational measures to safeguard your personal data, for example:

We store your personal data on secure servers.

3.3

Technical and organisational measures include measures to deal with any suspected data breach. If you suspect any misuse or loss or authorised access to your personal data, please let us know immediately by contacting us via PDPA@sgenable.sg.

Data retention

4.1

Unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law, we will only hold your personal data on our system for the period necessary to fulfill the purpose outlined in this Agreement and privacy policy or until you request that the personal data be deleted.

4.2

Please take note that in the event that your personal data has been deleted, it may still persist on our backup for a reasonable period of time for legal, tax or regulatory purposes, after which we will ensure such information is securely destroyed

5.

Access and correction of data

5.1

You can access, correct and update your contact and personal information on the App.

5.2

If you wish to contact us in relation to any personal information, you have the right to ask us to access, correct, delete or modify the information that we hold about you by emailing us at the email address listed below. You have the right to request to access the personal information that we hold about you free of charge. However, if the request affects the rights and freedoms of others or is manifestly excessive, we reserve the right to refuse such request or charge a reasonable fee to cover the administrative costs of providing such information to you.

Withdrawal of Consent

6.1

You may withdraw your consent given, or deemed to have been given, for any or all purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, by emailing to PDPA@sgenable.sg.Do note that if you withdraw your consent to any or all of the purposes, SG Enable may not be in a position to continue to provide our services to you

6.2

Please be aware that once we receive confirmation that you wish to withdraw your consent for the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data, it may take some time for your withdrawal to be reflected in our systems. Therefore, you may still receive marketing or promotional materials/ communication during this period of time.

6.3

Please take note that withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing that we or our processors conducted prior to your withdrawal, nor will it affect processing of your information conducted pursuant to lawful processing grounds other than consent.

7.

Links to Other Apps or Sites

7.1

This App may, from time to time, contain links to other App, websites or platforms operated by third parties(“Third Party Sites”), such as our affiliates, partners and service providers. We have no control over such Third Party Sites and are not responsible for the content or privacy practices operated by the Third Party Sites. You are advised to read the privacy policy or statement of other Third Party Sites prior to using them.

8.

Transferring your Information to Other Countries

8.1

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, you authorise us to transmit your information outside of Singapore in the manner and for the purposes described in this Agreement and privacy policy on the understanding that such transfers will be in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 and the transfer shall only be made to countries with comparable if not stricter personal data protection laws than Singapore

8.2

We are based in Singapore and your personal information may be transferred to, and be processed in Singapore and other third party countries. Whenever we transfer your personal information out of Singapore, we will take steps to protect your personal information by requiring these third parties to enter into a contract with us that requires them to use the personal information we transfer to them in a manner that is consistent with this privacy policy and applicable privacy laws in the region.

9.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

9.1

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you about material changes to this privacy policy by sending a notice to the email address you provided to us or by placing a prominent notice on our App. Any changes we may make to our privacy policy in the future will be posted on this page. Please check back frequently to see any updates or changes to our privacy policy.

BY ACCESSING THE SITE, YOU UNDERSTAND, ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOU WILL ABIDE BY THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, IMMEDIATELY STOP ACCESSING THE SITE AND DO NOT USE THE SERVICE OFFERED THROUGH THE SITE.
